Seriously? Race wouldn't even be thought about as such an issue if African Americans didn't ALWAYS make it as such. The reason why our society can't move on and grow from the wrongs made in the past is because no one will ever let us! Does an all African American show HAVE to cast white people in it? I don't think so. Whether set in olden times or present times. Yet a "white" show has to always cast a person of ethnicity regardless of time era. Not to mention have the people who wrote the article even seen the show other than to just criticize it? Do you want the show to write out that Kennedy ever got killed too and that business men didn't screw their secretaries? Let's just add in one of all races and all sing, "We are the world." That would make about as much as what this is asking. It was the 60's!! Read a history book!
